Dr Sahni is a mid career researcher having been awarded his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry  from the University of Illinois at Chicago, USA. Over the last 10 years, Dr Sahni has focused his research on pancreatic cancer. Specifically, he has worked on drug discovery of novel agents and examining their activity and mechanisms of action. He has also focused his research on identification of novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets for pancreatic cancer. He currently holds the position of Senior Research Fellow at USYD and is the Leader of “Pancreatic Cancer” Group within the Bill Walsh Translational Cancer Research Laboratory, Kolling Institute of Medical Research, USYD.
